Receiving Calls to Another Number Destinations Via Flexicall
Answering a Flexicall
Calls ring to a remote destination number just like any other call that had been directly dialed to that destination. The calling party is unaware the call is ringing to the remote destination number simultaneously with your office telephone extension. To remotely answer the call, lift the handset or press the answer button (if using a cell phone). The caller is connected. The office telephone extension stops ringing.
Ending a Flexicall
Just hang up the handset or press the end button (if using a cell phone). The call is terminated.
Not answering a Flexicall
If a call is unanswered at the remote location or your office telephone extension, your extension’s No Answer pre-programmed call forwarding will apply. Usually, it is set to go to the extension’s voice mail box. Please be aware, if the remote destination number has call forwarding, voicemail or similar features activated, the call can be directed to an unintentional result before the No Answer forwarding feature of the office telephone extension can process the call.
* To obtain your assigned dial codes, please see your in-house system administrator or call HostMyCalls Customer Service at extension 6000.
The HostMyCalls service can provide notifications to Subscribers of voice messages that have been received. This optional feature can send either Test Message Alerts or Audio Message Alerts to any email address for the Subscriber.

An alert message is sent each time a new voice message is received for the Subscriber. This feature is setup and activated by the HostMyCalls Support team.
Audio Message Alert
New Subscriber voice messages are copied and converted to wave file attachments and sent out via email from the HostMyCalls system to any valid email destination of the Subscriber. This feature is setup and activated by the HostMyCalls Support team.
